Organics MattR are a family-run business where everyone shares a passion for organics. Matt Rullis started Organics MattR after years of researching the benefits and discovering that Port Macquarie lacked a constant supply of fresh organic food. Starting out with nothing more than a dream, Matt opened his business in 2014 with his daughter Jemma.

Matt does a run to the Sydney Organic Markets once per week on a Monday, so that by Monday afternoon, he and his happy helpers are stocking their Bellbowrie St shelves with fresh organic produce. He also supports local organic farmers, selling produce from our surrounding fields.

The shop is full of colour from not only the fresh produce, but also the bright and sparkly personalities! Matt himself is a relaxed guy. He lives organically, eats organically, and practices what he preaches. Matt keeps the prices fair, is not afraid to tell you how much he paid for something, and has visions that see organic food becoming accessible to all.

As is the rule with organic produce, not everything is available all the time. You get what's in season, and what's in peak season is the most affordable. Only having seasonal produce in front of you makes it easy to select seasonal food to cook, and as we often emphasise in Chinese Medicine, eating with the seasons is important for our health.

Matt also stocks an increasing range of organic foods on the shelf, some bulk food, dairy products, fermented veggies, cold-pressed juices, frozen berries and more.
